Miguel is a UK based filmmaker with 2 decades experience and graduated in MA Film from Screen Academy Scotland. Miguel specializes in Cinematography but has experience in Directing and a solid background in Post-Production. Miguel was born in Lisbon, Portugal where he began experimenting with Super-8 film at the age of 15.
His career began in 1999 in cartoon cell animation, editing and VFX, in broadcast studios. In 2005 Miguel created ARTIMEDIA, a trademark and studio for corporate and fiction film, where his work as indie filmmaker has been featured in documentaries by the ARTE (2014) and Channel 4 (2016).
